Yard is pleased to announce that the Yard Plugin for WordPress has been significantly updated over the last two weeks: it is now featuring the same design and features like the standard calendar.

Earlier, the WordPress Integration of the Yard Calendar had a limited functionality compared to the other integrations:

• It was not possible to search for events.
• It was not possible to suggest a missing event.
• When clicking on an event, users were taken to the Yard website, instead of staying on the website which integrated the Yard Calendar via WordPress Integration.

These shortcomings have now been fixed. Users of the WordPress Integration now have access to exactly the same features of the standard Yard Calendar (which is also run in the events section on the Yard website).

By using a Yard Calendar, finance and business communities can give their audience easy access to a lot of events sourced from the Internet: the event calendar will always display the latest events automatically available. The updated WordPress Integration also comes with filter options, for example to limit events by category or location.
